Oman 2018

Oman hat viele Gemeinsamkeiten mit den Vereinigten Arabischen Emirate, ein moderner Golfstaat mit jedem erdenklichen Luxus, Hotels der Topklasse und üppige Abendbuffets.
Da ist aber noch das andere Oman: Seine Natur, gewaltig, archaisch, roh. Sein Volk, welches unter der rigiden Führung Sultan Qaboos den Rank in die Moderne gefunden hat und trotzdem die Tradition weiterleben kann wie vor 50 Jahren.
Meine wärmste Empfehlung dieses Land und seine Leute kennen zu lernen.

Oman has a lot in common with the United Arab Emirates, is modern with all kind of luxury such as bombastic hotels and luscious dinner buffets.

There is yet another Oman, showing an intense and archaic nature. Its people living their traditions as they did 50 years ago and on the other hand coming in terms with the modern westernised way of living.
Thanks to the tough guidance of sultan Qaboos they master this obstacle with flying colours.
With my warmest recommendation: get to know this country and its people.
