Ich wollte die höchsten Gipfel unseres Planeten sehen....so hoch hinaus kommen wie möglich....Grenzen erfahren...Der Natur ausgesetzt sein. So fror ich, rang um Atem. Dünne Luft und Kälte sorgten für Kopfschmerzen und schlaflose Nächte.

...Es hat sich gelohnt. Kathmandu und vor allem Bhaktapur haben für den kulturellen Ausgleich gesorgt.

I was eager to spot the highest peaks of our planet ... to find out where my limits were... to be exposed to nature.

And I was terribly cold, could hardly breathe. Thin air caused headaches and sleepless nights. ... But it was worth the effort. And of course, Nepal is not just nature.... Kathmandu and especially Bhaktapur offered some cultural gems which almost leveled the scores.
