Food

Perros Calientes are provided all everywhere in street stalls till late at night. It's a boiled saussage in bread with lots of onions and various dips. For the ones who don't drink rum (we are at the Caribean), Polar is the brand of Venezuelas beer. And of course there's all kind of fruit juices.

Transport

We rent a car. But driving in Caracas is a nightmare. We got into a dead end somewhere in a slum and luckily got out again. If you don't know the names of the city districts it's difficult to find your way out. Further more they drive like hell in Venezuela, overtake in every curve, better not to see the oncoming traffic when overtaking is a rule.

Beaches

There are quite some bays between Puerto La Cruz and Cumanà.

Caracas

Many high rise buildings in a valley along the coastline.
